OBJECTIVES

Development of innovative high-performance magnets without rare-earth materials which exceeds current magnets with rare-earth materials in performance, high-efficiency soft magnetic materials (Iron core) for internal loss reduction, and compact high-efficiency motors

DIRECTION of R&D

1)High-performance Neodymium magnets without Dysprosium

Target: 1.5 times in (BH)max (180℃)
2)New magnets exceeding Neodymium magnets Target: 2 times in (BH)max (180℃)
3)Low loss soft magnetic materials Target: 80% reduction in loss
4)High efficiency motors Target: 40% reduction in loss,
40% improvement in power density
